The origin of LIC go back over fifty years; it is, in fact, 1952 when the Bertoldo family begins its business operations with printing shop in Verolanuova, in the Brescian plain.

The '60s' see it engaged in expanding its business venturing also into that of paperboard boxes and, mre specifically, it is in 1961 that the printing shop is transformed into the FRABER company.

1982 represents another important landmark; it is the year in which LIC - Lavorazione Imballi Cartone is born, a company that produces packaging and that in 1991, continuing its growth, also begins producing corrugated cardboard.

In 1998, LIC consolidates its industrial position becoming an S.p.A. (joint stock company; Co. Ltd.) incorporating the industrial activities of FRABER. In 2001, LIC enters into an agreement with SAICA International, an important Spanish papermaking group, to form a strategic partership for an even more upstream integration.

In 2002 becomes member of TPN, an european Group of Companies involved in the packaging sector whose common objective is servicing multinational customers.
